Nice day for a deep cleaning of the bbq trailer. Although the reality sets in that we’ve officially closed the competition season. Can’t wait until in March.

I’m at a loss for words. 35th overall out of 401 teams at the American Royal World Series of BBQ. Competing with the best pitmasters and most importantly the best people in the world. And just missed the elusive 700 score. So blessed. Never imagined I’d cook in the Masters Series, let alone a 35th at the Royal. Thank you Jay LoBello and for what you do. for the wood for the day.

Coming along nicely. A small fun wedding rehearsal dinner catering gig for some friends. I think I’ll need to eat some before it goes to the rehearsal dinner just to make sure it’s ok.
