Happy Hour Home Just an average couple, living our dream one campground at a time. What better way to be close than to be in a camper together! This is a much better road.

After a cancer diagnosis in 2015 and a long road to recovery we decided that we wanted to make the very most of our time together. So @ #$& Cancer and Cheers to a healthy happy life! Together we have a beautiful family; three daughters, two sons, one daughter-in-law, and one hopefully will be, one son-in-law, and 6 grandchildren that we don't see enough of and last but not least one silly, spoiled, Australian Shepherd. We are part-timers chasing our dreams one campground at a time.

Just wanted to post the pictures from a recent trip to the DC area.We loaded up Hoss and Pfeffer (Semi and fifth wheel) and headed out with my mom and Bill's mom, and our granddaughter and met up with our two boys later. We stayed at Cherry Hill Park in Maryland. It was a beautiful campground. There were well-maintained playground areas, and a scavenger hunt that my granddaughter loved. She also enjoyed the giant splash pad area as well as the swimming pool. They have two pools, but only one is heated. The mini golf course was fun and had animal sculptures surrounding it. One of our family members rented a cabin while we were there and it was very nice. We also had a medical emergency while we were there, and the owners and staff at this campground went out of their way to help us. The ambulance staff were super, and the hospital was quick to check everything out. I am happy to announce that everyone is fine and we were able to resume our great time.

We were also able to meet up with my brother and sister-in-law in Richmond on our way home. We enjoyed lunch and laughs.

I'm aware it's been a long time since I last posted, but the last year has been a rollercoaster ride of unexpected twists and turns. I've gone back to college to pursue a degree in digital media, which will complement my existing education degree. Bill has gone back to work, because bills never stop. However, the past year has also brought its share of sadness, including the sudden loss of my dad. It's been a difficult experience, but it's also reminded me to make the most of every moment. My mom's unwavering optimism is a constant source of inspiration, and I feel grateful to have her in my life. So, what do you do when life takes an unexpected turn? You create a new plan, and that's exactly what I'm doing. I'll be sharing some of our weekend adventures with you soon. Sending love to our family and friends ❤️
