The National Weather Service is forecasting a low-pressure system moving in from the Pacific that may bring increased chances of rain beginning next Tuesday, with the potential for heavier rainfall on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Residents are encouraged to continue monitoring weather forecasts for updates.

Sandbags are available during regular business hours at the following locations:
• Public Works, 17282 Mojave Street
• Fire Station 302, 17288 Olive Street
• Fire Station 304, 15660 Eucalyptus Street
• Fire Station 305, 8331 Caliente Avenue
Sandbags are limited to 10 per Hesperia residence.

VICTORVILLE PET OF THE WEEK:

This week our featured Pet of the Week is Stella aka "Boo-berry" #4084 from the City of Victorville.

Stella is a 4-month-old, female, Dogo Argentino mix currently under the care of a volunteer foster. She loves to run around and explore with her foster siblings and cuddle with her foster parents. She is crate trained and almost fully potty-trained.

Stella is a very playful and intelligent girl that will make your world a whole lot brighter.

Currently, pet adoptions from the City of Victorville are free and include the spay/neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. Also, this month, receive a free gift with all adoptions.
