I’m Sheila “Red” Ringressy, and I’ve been a travel advisor for almost 14 years. My annivesary is coming up in January.

A big part of what I do is small luxury-ship cruising, river cruises, African safaris, and unique experiences around the world.

I travel quite a bit myself, too, so I often share what I’m seeing and experiencing firsthand — the places I love, things I learn along the way, travel tips, and sometimes opportunities that I think are worth knowing about.

“The ride of your life. The 135-foot-tall Daredevil’s Peak at Perfect Day at CocoCay is the tallest waterslide in North America and promises to leave you breathless”

My group went on Daredevil’s Peak and I was like NO WAY. So I went on the green slide the Manta Raycers. The second time around I decided I’m going to DO it. Those who don’t know me…
I have a fear of heights!
As I get to the top, our group leaders asked the attendant if i was there… “he’s like are you Red ? “ I was like what? I was really confused… why is he asking me, he’s like your friends are down below . I’m now a little worried. Did something happen? ( Little did I know they wanted to know when I was going down so they could record me🤭🤦‍♀️lol)

A little look at SILVER RAY by Silversea. ✨

Confessions of a Luxury Travel Advisor:
I hated it.

So much so… I went back for a third time. 😂😂

Clearly, I’m terrible at making decisions.

This was my 3rd time sailing Silver Ray, and somehow I still found plenty of reasons not to leave the ship.

The food.
The service.
The design.
The views.
The little details.
And that feeling of being somewhere incredibly special without everything screaming for your attention.

Oh… and before you ask — no, I didn’t make it to the spa or the gym. 😂

Apparently, three sailings still weren’t enough time.

Here’s a peek at the ship from my perspective. 🥂

The best fall colors I’ve ever seen may have been from the deck of a ship. 🍁

New England & Canada in the fall is one of my favorite cruise itineraries—and you can sail from right here in NY or NJ, skipping the airport altogether.

Brilliant foliage, charming coastal towns, crisp air… and a pretty spectacular view from your balcony.

Confessions of a Luxury Travel Agent: I used to think paradise meant flying to the Caribbean. Now I know some of the best escapes are right in our backyard.

That’s why this Azamara offer caught my attention. If fall foliage cruising is on your list, this may be the time to look.

You know a bar is going to be memorable when your drink arrives with a bubble on top. 🫧

At The SALT Lab on Silver Ray, cocktails aren’t just poured… they’re presented.

That bubble? It’s part of the experience—and watching it burst before taking that first sip is half the fun.

And yes… I absolutely had to try it. 😂
