ALERT: SH-24/US-30 will be closed in both directions under I-84 starting at 6 p.m. Friday, April 4, ending before 6 a.m. Monday, April 7, weather and other factors permitting. The purpose of the closure is to remove the eastbound I-84 structure over SH-24/US-30. Please follow detours, watch for crews, and follow posted speed limits through the area.

There will be a Special City Council Meeting Wednesday Dec 18th@ 3:45. The main agenda item will be a public hearing on the North Gate Uban Renewal Plan. This is the subdivision north of the freeway and Agra Service off 500w.

At Wednesday’s city council, the council awarded Total Waste Management with the city’s sanitation contract. TWM, a heyburn based business, came in significantly under other bidders. Thank you TWM for helping keep our Rates as low as possible!

At Wednesday nights city council, the council voted in favor of moving forward with accepting Emerald Lake in to the city. We are in the process of writing up some of the details, if you have questions let us know and we will include the answers in our article!
