We have been doing full-time RV life since 2018 and on the road since 2019. Before we hit the road, we purchased a jeep to tow behind our motorhome. We had that jeep with us for seven years. Recently, we were involved in a crash and it was totaled.

So, we went out immediately and purchased a new Jeep ! Now, it’s time to start setting this one up for our full-time RV adventures. First order of business is to install the hitch so we can haul our bikes. Then, I ran the wiring to hook up our suction cup mount trailer lights. We were able to save the wheels/tires from my previous Jeep. But to install them on the new Jeep, we had to add a lift. So we added a 2.5 inch lift and then got the wheels/tires put on. We love the way it looks!

now, we just need to get a Blue Ox system installed on this Jeep so we can tow it behind our RV!

We’ve been doing full-time RV travel around North America for seven years. At the end of July, the Jeep that we’ve had for the last seven years was totaled when a distracted driver plowed into us at 50 mph while we were stopped to make a turn.

it’s been a stressful few weeks, but today is a special day. We’re heading over to pick up our new Jeep and it just happens to also be Angela’s birthday! Our sales person Giovanni 🦅 found out it was Angela’s birthday and got her a gift. It was definitely the best vehicle buying experience that we’ve ever had.

After picking up the Jeep, we headed over to 131 MAIN Restaurant for dinner. The food was fantastic. Overall, a great birthday and definitely some much-needed stress-free time.

We have been touring North America full-time since 2019. For the last several years we’ve been wanting to get some new E bikes. We finally settled on the Thunder Pro by Jasion Global and got them early this summer. Unfortunately, just six weeks later, a distracted driver hit us at about 50 MPH and totaled our Jeep and new E bikes.

The folks over at Jasion saw that our bikes had been totaled just a few few weeks after we got them and they actually sent us some new e-bikes! We can’t even begin to say how grateful we were for that! We are still recovering from the crash. But we are very much looking forward to when our doctor clears us to ride our bikes again!

here’s what you’re gonna need:
* graham crackers
* hersheys chocolate
* apples
* caramel
* peanut butter
* marshmallows

….and it may not hurt to have an emergency stash of insulin on hand.

My super s’mores are absolutely the best s’mores I’ve ever had in my life. And with doing full-time Camper life, I’ve had a lot of s’mores. Made some of these for the neighbors and they absolutely loved them. Because of course they did. Please.

Today we’re changing out our Glacier Fresh | Premium Water Filter Systems three stage water filters. We got the system, not long ago. But since we full-time, and we are in an area with lots of sediment in the water, I noticed that our water pressure had been dropping. That meant two things. First, clearly the filters were getting clogged up, and it was time to change them. Second, if we had not had the filters on there, we would’ve been drinking everything that was clogging the filters!!

Changing out the filters is a simple job. When you buy your three stage system, they give you the tool to open the canisters. Be sure not to lose this tool. I did. Took me a while to find mine.

A couple of months ago we picked up some new Thunder Pro E bikes from ​⁠We started a video series called “where are we biking today“. In this series, we have taken our bikes to new locations every week. Today we’re sharing some of our favorite clips and giving some more details on our bikes. In this series, you’ll see places like the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville, South Carolina, the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Charleston, Folly Beach, the Thermal Belt Rail Trail, the NC Arboretum, and more!!

The Thunder Pro E bike from Jasion is a fat tire E bike with a top speed of around 35 MPH. There are five pedal assist levels, a headlight, a tail light, blinkers, and a hand grip throttle. The battery can last up to 90 hours. Our anniversary is July 24 and this year we’re spending it in Charleston South Carolina so for this week’s episode of “where are we biking today” we’re taking our bikes over to Folly Beach

Just like in historic Charleston, parking in Folly Beach can be a hassle, and also quite expensive. We took our Jasion Global Thunder Pro e-bikes over to explore the island.

They were the perfect vehicle to have to explore the beach!

Over seven years ago, we bought a new Jeep Wrangler. We outfitted it with a Blue Ox system so we could tow it behind our Forest River Motorhomes motorhome and we hit the road full-time. This Jeep has allowed us to make so many memories with our kids.

it’s been in 43 states, three Canadian provinces, and made the trek all the way to Alaska and back. It’s crossed the country multiple times. Our kids learned to drive in it.

A few weeks ago, we were involved in a crash that totaled our Jeep. We were able to salvage our wheels and tires, but we lost everything else, including the blue ox system. Now, we have to start over with a new Jeep. This is so sad. We had planned to keep this Jeep forever. So many memories have been made over the last seven years and we hate to see this Jeep go. iI’s been through so much with us.

On this week’s episode of “Where are we biking today”, we are in beautiful historic Charleston, SC. If ever there was a city where E bikes were the perfect way to get around, it is definitely Charleston. It’s one of our favorite cities in the US and this is the second time we’ve spent our anniversary here. This time we brought our Jasion Global Thunder Pro ebikes to help us get around town. They were PERFECT for Charleston!

Our Airbnb was in historic Charleston, and everything we wanted to visit in this area was all within a few miles from us. If you’ve ever been to this city, you know parking is a nightmare. But with our E bikes, we didn’t have to worry about that at all. And the pedal assist, throttle, and turn signals helped us easily navigate the traffic/roads throughout the historic district.
