A lot of folks ask how to pronounce our name. kat • ruh • von works well. It's a french spelling that plays on our sister company's name Fourwind but also sounds like the word 80 in french.

Blade Runner 2049 (2017) was great, and beautiful and itself was in line to the original while still maintaining faith with the first. However, this film did not seem to lend itself for as many metaphors and philosophies on our current society or life in general as the first film did. This is more escapism in a beautifully dark future. The acting is superb and unique, the cinematography is the greatness we expect from Deakins, and still fitting in the telephoto world of Blade Runner.

I think the biggest loss in this film was the lack of human characters, or more so the lack of hinting at human characters. In the end the film was very impersonal because it's more just a comment on where the future could lead us and the trouble robots could have and it left the human race out of it. Which seems empty because it's pure imagination. This is fine and the movie is done well, but it misses that deeper quality.
