***STOP #2 LAKE VERMILION***

Stop #2 on the Up North Bass Team Series hit Lake Vermilion which proved to fish alot harder than normal. But as they always do teams were able to find great bags. The team of Kevin & Brayden Kzaley found the big bag and won their second event in a row!

1st- Kevin & Brayden Kzaley 18.45lbs
2nd- Harrison Nelson & Hayden Anderson- 17.99lbs
3rd- Richard & Jeff Davidson 17.11lbs

Big Bass- Kevin & Brayden 5.41lbs

Big thanks to Hoodoo Point Campground for hosting our event it made the weighing go very smooth.

Stop #3 will be on July 12th on Birch Lake in Babbitt which can be a test for most but also holds some truly giant Smallmouth.

***STOP # 2 LAKE VERMILION***

Stop #2 this Saturday June 28th, 2025

7am take off
3pm return flight 1 (boats 1-13)
3:15 return flight 2 (boats 14-26)

Largemouth or smallmouth 12" minimum

We will be taking off and blasting off from Hoodoo Point Campground found in the red in the attached pictures. This is just on the other side of the landing.

There is a swimming beach just make sure we stay out of the way of the guests of the resort in the afternoon.

Boat #1 will ease off far enough out to blast off and the rest will follow.

please return your fish back into deeper water so we do not have a bunch of fish floating around on shore or dying trying to get back out

If you are in an earlier flight and done weighing in please go get your boat on a trailer and walk back over so we can make room for the second flight people

reminder Vermilion is off limits until tournament day.

We will be taking off from Hoodoo Point campground on the other side of the point from the landing. I will post more once we have confirmation of exact location they want us for take off and weigh-in. Some of you are probably aware of the location from other tournaments.

***FISH LAKE 2025 RESULTS**

26 teams competed at Fish Lake. Fishing proved to be tough for alot of competitors but in the end the team of Kevin & Brayden Kzaley found the winning fish!

Five fish limit smallmouth or largemouth

we provide the weigh bags and must be used.
we ask everyone to get their fish weighed as quickly as they can to avoid slow weigh in.

If you have a sub make sure you let Derek or Aaron know and pay the membership fee of $25

We also provide clip tags for the big fish in the morning with your boat number. Big fish must be tagged to be counted.

We do not do a countdown so you will need to keep track of how many boats have blasted off and be ready. Know who you follow. We typically start right at 7 but may go sooner if all boats are in the water and accounted for. So be READY to go.

Typically we weigh in at Derek and Darin's boat. If someone gets there early enough please try to save a spot for Derek and Darin next to that group of trees where we typically weigh in PLEASE.

if you are meeting your partner at the landing do not park in the boat spots its going to be full from us and others and space is limited. With that said i urge others to use on of the other many landings on the lake as it tends to be congested at this landing for getting in and out.

Results will be available via the WeighFish app live or shortly after the tournament ends depending on cell phone upload availability.

This means you can not be on the lake from the 26th until the morning of the tournament.

we will have boat draw for all tournaments posted Sunday or Monday and it will be available via Weighfish.

***CASS LAKE UPDATE***

Oak Haven Resort has been gracious enough to host us for Cass Lake tournament. We will be taking off and weighing in from the resort. It is situated between Wolf & Andrusia.

Final week to get those full season entries in! We are getting close to our 25 number and will start filling in with three tournament entries after the April 1st, providing there is room for 3 tournament teams. If you have not paid or reached out to us about what your plans are please do we will NOT hold spots after April 1st if we have not received half payment (next half due May 1st).
