The Palmyra Old Settlers Picnic has begun in Taggart Park with the Palmyra Fire and Rescue serving a freewill donation dinner. There will be fireworks later and a full day of activities on Saturday, May 30. See the full schedule in The Voice News.

The Adams American Legion Post 221 Hellcats Juniors (1-3) came from behind to win their first game 10-8 over the visiting American Legion Post 280 Bennet, Ne/195 Palmyra Juniors (0-2) on May 27 at Don McPherson Memorial Field in Adams.

Adams Fire and Rescue has been called out to a cement truck that has rolled and is blocking Aspen Road between 120th and 134th Streets between Firth and Adams.
