Since 2017, Catawba Valley Community College's Redhawk Publications has been on a mission to bring unique books to market, with over 200 titles to date.

It is one of only a handful of community colleges in the USA with a literary press. We have a staff of graphic artists, editors, photographers, grant writers, managers, all with experience in all kinds of projects.

Showing some extra Robert Love this treatment cycle—today’s creative chemo moment comes from artist Fiely Matias.

When Fiely learned that Robert and Ann were once proud parakeet owners, he was inspired by the bond they share. He saw in their story the deep partnership that carries a couple through life’s challenges. This digital artwork of two close-knit budgies is a tribute to that love and resilience.

For Robert and his amazing partner, Ann—sent with love from Fiely and Dennis. Big hug!
