Two children from Georgia gave flowers to Buddhist monks walking across America for peace. They offered a bouquet of white lilies as the monks continued their 2,300-mile journey from Fort Worth, Texas to Washington, D.C. The monks are spreading awareness of peace and compassion, and their Walk for Peace has created a ripple effect of kindness.

Giving flowers is a simple act of respect, gratitude, and goodwill. The monks tuck the flowers into their robes and carry them as they walk on their 120-day journey.
