I AM A 5TH GENERATION GAINESVILLIAN ,,, BOTH SIDES OF MY FAMILY GO BACK EVEN TO 1840'S ON MY DAD'S SIDE .. MY MATERNAL GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS AN IMPORTANT AND NECESSARY PART OF THE COMMUNITY ,, HE OWNED THE ICE HOUSE ..., I WAS BORN IN ALACHUA GENERAL IN 1949 , AND DELIVERED BY DR MURPHY, HE GAVE ME THE FIRST OF MANY SPANKS ... IN OUR CHILDHOOD GAINESVILLE WAS THE PERFECT PLACE TO RAISE KIDS ,, GREAT EDUCATION , AND LOTS GREAT ACTIVITIES ,,, THE UNIVERSITY AND TOWN HAD A LOVE AFFAIR ,,, BUT 70 YEARS LATER , HOGTOWN HAS DEGENERATED INTO A WOKE POLITICALLY CORRECT MESS .. INTEGRITY AND REASON HAS BEEN ERASED BY SILLY OBSESSIONS WITH RACE AND GENDER ...
