The Sirens Records mission is to preserve authentic Chicago blues, boogie woogie, gospel, and jazz piano music. Some of the legendary blues, jazz, and gospel pianists we've recorded include Erwin Helfer, Barrelhouse Chuck, Earma Thompson, Blind John Davis, Geraldine Gay, Eddie Robinson, and more.

El próximo 4 de Mayo presentación oficial en de Chicago en un concierto dedicado a Erwin que actualmente tiene 88 años! No os lo perdáis!

I’m specially happy with this new Cd with the Chicago Blues piano legend Erwin Helfer recorded in Chicago with two great Fazioli Pianos and released by the prestigious The Sirens Record. Next 4th of May Cd release party at Old Town Folk Music School in Chicago in a Concert to Celebrates Erwin Helfer, he is 88 years young now. Not to miss!!

Next week is momentous - an inauguration and Erwin Helfer 's 85 birthday! The Sirens Records will celebrate his birthday and illustrious career (from his accompanying Mama Yancey in the 1950's to most recently playing at the Hungry Brain) with a new CD release "Celebrate the Journey" and a virtual birthday/CD release party on February 27th (more information forthcoming).
