Somethings I've learned about meditation since doing it.
🧿Anything can be meditation 🧘🏾♀️
What I mean by this is that you do not have to be in a seated upright position with your legs crossed and eyes closed to meditate. Yes, it is nice to do this but not necessary.
🧿 You do not have to meditate for a long time
Most think that meditation has to be 15-20 minutes or longer for it to be successful which is why they say they don't have enough time to meditate. This is not true!
🧿You can meditate while in movement
Meaning you can clean, walk, cook, and even meditate to sleep.
I could go on and on, but Meditation is simply being aware and setting your intentions. This can be done in 3-5 minutes or less! Yes to go into a deeper meditation you would want to meditate longer. But start out simple and start out small and work your way to the larger time frames. Also, it takes at least 21 days to become a habit.
I have officially been meditating 80 days straight and I have been attempting meditation since like 2019. You will eventually get it daily!
Don't over complicate meditation! Ease it into your life by simplifying it!!!
