A suspicious black vehicle, featuring a race fin and a red background with white numbers (03), entered my driveway. The vehicle executed a rapid U-turn and departed swiftly via Tuckers Corners after my German Shepherd and daughter approached it.

Today members of the New Paltz Fire Department and New Paltz Police Department responded to a local dog wash for a dog stuck in the drain. Members were able to remove the drain for better access to the dogs foot. After a few minutes the dog was free.

This past evening, three firefighters, while out to dinner with their families and friends, all heard the same cry for help: "Is there a doctor in the restaurant?" Running to the parking lot, a Clintondale firefighter and a Wallkill fire chief joined an Ulster Hose chief in performing CPR. Within half a round of chest compressions, the victim's pulse returned. An ambulance arrived and quickly transported the person. God bless all first responders. 🙏👨‍🚒❤️
