Say hello to handsome Michael. Not sure I’ve ever known a pup named Michael. This distinguished boy deserves a forever home!

HERO PET SPOTLIGHT: MICHAEL – Michael is a sweet 10-month-old Black Mouth Cur mix who adores everyone he meets. He gets along great with other dogs and he loves to play with other pups and toys. Like all canine youngsters, Michael would thrive with someone who will give him the time and opportunity for some additional behavior training. He is smart, eager to please and we’ll even give his lucky adopter a head start. (See our after-adoption training offer below.)

Michael will make a great family pet, companion dog and adventure buddy. And to top it off, between the eyeliner and the tongue, Michael would be a shoo-in for a KISS lookalike doggy contest that would make Gene Simmons proud. 😛

Don’t Miss the Full Buck Moon Lighting Up the Night Sky on July 10, 2025! 🌕

Set your alarms and your sights on the sky because on July 10, 2025, the Full Buck Moon will shine in all its golden glory. Peaking at exactly 01:38 UTC (07:08 AM IST), this full moon gets its name from a beautiful seasonal transformation in nature: it's the time of year when male deer (bucks) begin to grow their new antlers, velvet-covered and full of promise. But that’s not its only name some cultures also call it the Thunder Moon, honoring the booming summer storms that often roll through during this season.

This lunar event isn’t just bright it’s brilliant. The Buck Moon will rise shortly after sunset, glowing large and low on the horizon in a rich golden hue before climbing high and lighting up the entire night sky. You won’t need telescopes or fancy gear to enjoy it just a clear view and a little wonder.
