Director of Athletics Marc Buchner proudly displays the MAPL Headmasters Cup that was awarded to Peddie this week for the fourth consecutive year, and for the fifth time in the award's six-year history. The Cup recognizes the school "whose teams and student bodies consistently displayed a spirit of sportsmanship, friendship, and respect for their MAPL members."

The boys varsity golf team dominated the NJISAA State Prep A tournament today on its home course, earning a total score of 286, 19 strokes ahead of runner-up Seton Hall Prep. Stefan Cygan '13 shot a 66 to claim the individual title, while Max Greyserman '14 (73) placed third and Curren Mody '15 (73) took fourth. The girls varsity golf team will compete in its State tournament tomorrow at the Peddie Golf Course.

The boys varsity golf team finished its season with a perfect 10-0 record by defeating South Brunswich yesterday 145-161.

The boys varsity golf team won its second straight Mercer County Championship, beating second place Hopewell Valley by 14 strokes over Hopewell Valley. Kyle Sterbinsky '15 won the tournament in the first playoff hole, carding a 73. Max Greyserman '14 (74) and Stefan Cygan '13 (76) also medaled.

National Poetry Out Loud Recitation Contest Semifinals and Finals, April 29-30, 2013

Kavita Oza '14 placed in the top three of her semi-final round today at the 2013 Poetry Out Loud National Finals in Washington, D.C.
