A trio of small pen and ink illustrations done by artist J. Cox is in the spotlight. Her tiny drawings are paired with a heartfelt story of an aging dog and of course, zombies, by author Hall Jameson. The story is called "In a Dog's Age". Both author and artist are from the Pacific Northwest and can currently be found in the Autumn 2025 issue of the magazine.

The artist spotlight is on JD Robinson, a visual creator from right here in Oregon. He specializes in simple looking drawings done with a single line - no lifting the pen or stopping and starting. It's actually fairly difficult to achieve, but Robinson has done hundreds of these line drawings, creating expressive images with great economy.

His drawing appears with a story by author Max Rauhman called "Tuesday Evenings". What if your greatest enemy is yourself and the lines between reality and hallucination merge? Explore the terrifying terrain of the unhealthy mind in the Autumn 2025 issue of the magazine. Order at www.Illustratedworldsmagazine.com

Illustrated Worlds will be vending at this market in the beginning of October. The Grand Theatre is a great venue, and the market will begin after a showing of the cult classic film "Night of the Living Dead". Zombies and dark shopping opportunities will abound. Don't miss it!

Today's artist spotlight is on Kate Salvi and her image "Melancholy". She hails from Rhode Island in the Northeast United States, and we're pleased she's made her debut here at Illustrated Worlds.

Her work is paired with a fairytale filled with unwilling brides called "The Painted Platform" by author Liam Hogan. Liam is a speculative fiction writer from the UK.

We're glad to have both featured in the Autumn 2025 issue of the magazine. Order a digital or print copy at www.Illustratedworldsmagazine.com

Regular contributing artist, Nick Stevens, appears in the latest issue of the magazine with his image "Silver". Nick's work appeared on the Summer 2025 cover, and there's rarely an issue that doesn't feature his talent. We appreciate all of the art he so willingly shares with our readers.

This image brings a visual component to author Jon Clendaniel's fractured fairy tale. You can find both in the Autumn 2025 issue of Illustrated Worlds Magazine.

The artist spotlight is on Bailey Moore. This recent transplant to Florida is attending art college right this very minute, but we're happy she took time out of her studies to let us publish "Solace" in the Autumn 2025 issue of the magazine.

Her piece is paired with the story "The Pipe Organ on the Cliff" by Catherine Yeates. Visit an island in the afterlife and meet a few of the dead while you're at it in this beautiful tale of finding the heart of your soul after mortality is gone.

Irish artist Rebecca Kennedy is featured in the Autumn 2025 issue of Illustrated Worlds Magazine. Her image accompanies the horror story "Bumps" by John Stadelman. Generational trauma and violence can be passed down over and over, but sometimes family members receive their just desserts.
