I'm excited to have two of my paintings hanging in the Hatfield Hall theatre building in downtown Portland, Oregon. They'll be there for two more weeks. I'm working on other pieces and designing the Autumn issue of Illustrated Worlds Magazine. I can't wait to show all of you the amazing art and fiction I've gathered.

The ever amazing and almost famous Peter Hoffman is making what may be his 200th appearance in Illustrated Worlds Magazine with this piece of art. I haven't kept track, and I admit that may be a slight exaggeration, but Peter has been a contributor right from the start. If I can keep this train moving, he probably will make it to 200.

Peter is a local artist here in Oregon, and we appreciate him to no end. His work appears with a short story by Rex Burrows called "The Lesser Devil's Stairway".

Georgia photographer, Natalie Shea, contributed this image to the Illustrated Worlds Summer 2025 issue. She took this shot on actual 35 mm film and developed it herself - a process we don't see as often these days. We love that she decided to share her work with us.

A collage piece by Kathy Bruce titled "A Sudden Glimpse of Despair" appears in the Summer 2025 Issue #10 of Illustrated Worlds Magazine. Kathy is from Scotland, and we're glad she thought to send us some art from across the pond.

Her piece accompanies the story of a technologically advanced future we might want to be wary of before it turns into a reality. "Paperwork Prison" written by Kelle Kranendonk takes a look at the possible relationship between robots and humanity.
