Gawking around Ohio

Monday we decided to get out and go to Blanchester, Ohio. Sure glad we did found a small collage (it was once a collage I should say) in Brown County beautiful back roads just enjoyed it.
Tuesday morning very chilly but beautiful just the same. Made it over to Bainbridge, Ohio to JR’s General store to resupply on some bulk food goods that we were short on. Stop at  Picket Run Farms a absolutely beautiful greenhouse facility. We will definitely be back.

Today’s adventure took us to Brown county all the way down to the small but beautiful town of Ripley Ohio right on the Ohio river. We sat on the river for a few minutes and took some pictures of building around the town. Also stop at the Ripley flea market let’s just say wow lots of stuff to look at. On our way home we stopped to eat in Georgetown Ohio at a place called The Home Place. So much to see in there. Ordered 2 charred chicken legs and thighs along with smoked macaroni and cheese. Best macaroni and cheese that I’ve had for a while. Also stopped at a couple thrift stores and people selling stuff along the highway I was able to pick up a really nice fishing pole for 20 bucks. On the way home stop at a very unusual boutique name of the place was a VINTAGE MEETS BOHO at the ole Mill store right next to the railroad tracks. In Mount orb Ohio. A good day of gawking for all.

Out driving (Gawking) around home such a beautiful spring day. From Amish farms, a school house to collecting maple sap for maple syrup. Oh did I mention the beautiful county views that we see almost every day. We enjoy were we live.

On today’s adventure we went to  Jungle Jim’s in Eastgate Cincinnati. Of course we went the back roads there enjoyed the ride lots of beautiful farms and houses all along the way. It was our first time at this Jungle Jim’s. What a really clean and organize grocery store. Ending up getting a few unusual things. Bought a couple bottles of the real Coke with real sugar, bought a few bottles of frosty root beer, purple potatoes, coco rice cakes tostada style very delicious light and airy mint flavored moon pies. Along with a few other things. Can’t wait to go back.
