Bipartisan Bill Aims To Combat Invasive Mussels In The Great Lakes

Quincy Flour Mill To Cease Operations

A company that operates a flour mill in Quincy says it will cease milling operations at the end of the year. According to World Grain.com, Star of the West Milling Company has announced it will close its flour mill in Quincy, on or around January 1st. Chief Hephner Delays His Retirement At Mayor’s Request

Hillsdale City Police and Fire Chief Scott Hephner has agreed to delay his retirement in an effort to assist in finding his replacement. A Reading woman, who was a teacher at a high school in Steuben County, Indiana, is free on bond as she faces charges after two students ingested ma*****na edibles that she apparently left in plain sight. Authorities reported that 49-year-old Debra McGillem, a teacher at Angola High School, is accused of bringing THC-laced candy into a classroom. Preliminary Deer Harvest Numbers Are In For Opening Weekend

As of Monday morning, Hillsdale County hunters have reported more than 1,100 deer have been taken since Saturday’s opening of the Firearm Deer Season! According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources' online reporting site, Hillsdale County hunters have reported 1,105 deer as of 7:00 am. That number includes 764 bucks and 341 does. Those numbers will increase, as hunters have 72 hours to report a successful harvest. ...
