The Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture (FestPAC) was started in 1972 and is held every 4 years, each time in a different Pacific Island nation. This past year, 2024, Hawai’i got the honor of hosting FestPAC for the 1st time, drawing an estimated 500,000 attendees. Because there are over 20 participating island nations, Hawai’i will not get to host this event again for another 80 years.

Mahalo to the organizers for everything you do to make this incredible cultural celebration possible, and for allowing Hawai’i the chance to be a momentary epicenter on the festival’s journey around Oceania. Mahalo to all the participating delegations for sharing such beautiful and quality displays of art. And a big mahalo to all our local people in Hawai’i for doing such a great job preparing for this huge event, keeping everyone safe, and providing such wonderful venues.
