🇺🇸 A Hometown Hero Takes Flight! ✈️

We’re proud to share some exciting news from our very own community! The U.S. Navy Blue Angels have announced their officer selections for the 2026 air show season—and one of Beaufort’s own is taking to the skies in a new way.

1st Lt. Danielle Cribb, a proud Beaufort native and graduate of The Citadel (Class of 2021), has been selected as the Public Affairs Officer for the elite Blue Angels team. Currently stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Lt. Cribb will bring her Lowcountry roots and leadership to one of the most recognizable military demonstration squadrons in the world.

Her selection is a true testament to the caliber of talent and dedication found right here in Beaufort, and we couldn’t be more proud to see her represent our hometown on a national stage.

Please join us in congratulating Lt. Cribb on this incredible achievement and wishing her the very best as she embarks on this next chapter of service and excellence! 🇺🇸💙💛
