SCAM ALERT

We want to inform our customers of a scam that has been taking place in our local service area. Customers have been receiving calls asking questions about their monthly bills and informing them we are doing upgrades in the area. They proceed to tell them if they make a payment over the telephone and reboot their televisions, they will receive this upgrade. Please be aware THIS IS A SCAM to get credit card information. They seem to be targeting our elderly customers, especially in the Letcher and Knott County areas. Please be aware! If you have any questions concerning a telephone call, please hang up and call our office at 606-785-9500 - especially if they say they are calling from Thacker- Grigsby or TVS Cable asking for payment information.

We currently have an equipment failure that is impacting service in the Bonnyman, Lothair, Christopher, Walkertown, Busy, Chavies, and Krypton areas. We have technicians working on changing out the equipment and hope to have service restored soon.

UPDATE: The issue is resolved and services should restored.

If you are a TVS Cable customer in Letcher County and your internet service is out this morning (8-16-24) please power cycle your modem. Technicians had to reboot some equipment in our Letcher County hub site early this morning. We apologize for the inconvenience, if that does not work please contact our office.
