Vehicle Accident Leaves A Mother And Daughter In Shock After A Vehicle Destroys Their Business

An early morning accident has left a mother and daughter in shock after a vehicle slammed into their business in Allenhurst.

Kami Anders received a text around 2:30 Sunday morning from a friend notifying her the Eco friendly business she built with her mother Katamara Frasier stood in ruins after a vehicle slammed into it collapsing the wall and damaging the inside making it unsafe to enter.

Frasier said they sold eco friendly products which included detergents, carpet cleaners and other products to clean homes and was named Diamond Life.

According to Georgia State Patrol Trooper, Christopher Ashdown, Trooper Lyle Thurmond was dispatched to a call of a vehicle striking the Allenhurst post office located on the corner of West Oglethorpe highway and Dunlevie road. When Thurmond arrived he encountered a 2025 Hyndai Elantra heavily damaged. Both the driver and passenger were transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah where their condition is unknown.

Ashdown said the Elantra was traveling westbound on west Oglethorpe highway when it left the roadway striking a power pole and hitting the building.

The GSP Specialized Reconstruction Team was called out to investigate the accident due to the possibility the passenger may have sustained serious injuries. The driver of the Elantra has been identified as a 27 year old who resided in Ludowici and is facing charges.
