So thankful for our village!

The Roads Are Still Bumpy… But I’m Starting to See the Sunrise

I’m not going to sugarcoat it — these past few weeks have been some of the hardest of my life.
There’s a special kind of quiet that comes when you’re staring at bills, wondering what to cut — food, gas, or pride.
There’s a heaviness that lives in your chest when you want to keep pushing forward… but your body, your mind, and your bank account keep whispering, “You can’t.”

But somehow — I did.
And not because I’m stronger than anyone else… but because of you.

You showed up.
In the form of a message.
A text at just the right moment.
A donation that felt like someone saying, “Hey, you still matter. You’re not invisible.”

You kept me afloat when I was ready to sink.

To everyone who’s reached out, supported, or even just prayed for me — I want you to know: it wasn’t wasted. It didn’t go unnoticed. And it absolutely made a difference.

I’m still playing catch-up. Still stringing together hours from different gigs. Still waiting for the day when “barely surviving” turns into “finally breathing.”
But the road? It’s looking a little less broken. A little more like it’s leading somewhere. I’m starting to feel hope again — not because the storm is over, but because I now know I’m not walking through it alone.

To My Village — With Everything I Have Left

As most of you know by now - I’ve spent the last several months trying to stay afloat — mentally, emotionally, and yes, even physically. Some days felt heavier than I could carry. But you… you carried me.

Your prayers. Your messages. Your shares. Your donations.
I’ve felt every one of them like a hand on my shoulder when I thought I’d fall flat. And somehow, I didn’t.

The truth? These weeks have tested me in ways I don’t even have words for. I’ve gone to bed wondering how I’d make it to the next day. And more than once, it was your support — your belief in me — that made sure I did.

Now, some light is finally breaking through: in a couple weeks, I’ll be full-time employed. It’s not the finish line, but it’s a lifeline. I’m holding onto it with everything I’ve got, because I know what it means — the chance to finally stand on my own two feet again.
