This Inn charges you $10 if you don’t bring your dog… and honestly, is obsessed. Located just 15 minutes from Killington Ski Resort, in West Rutland, Vermont might be the most dog-focused stay in all of New England! From the moment you pull into the “barking” lot and check in, your pup is treated like family — with a welcome bag of treats, their own cozy bed, blanket, towels, and sheets — plus a property where dogs are welcome everywhere (yep, even in your room 🐾).
Owners Jen and Mitch have truly thought of everything to make sure both you and your pup feel right at home. Here’s what you’ll find:
🏡 8 dog-friendly rooms + 2 dog-friendly cabins
🦴 A dog bed, sheets, towels and treats waiting in your room for your pup
🐶 Mario’s Playhouse — on-site boarding kennel that’s safe, protected, & included with your stay (perfect if you want to hit the slopes or explore somewhere not-so-dog-friendly)
🛝 Diggins Dog Park — a massive fenced-in playground with agility stations!
🪟 Windows low to the floor so pups can peek outside
🚽 Bathroom doors left unlocked so your dog can follow you in (because of course they do 😆)
🐕 Dogs allowed on all the furniture
🧇 Mornings start with a homemade breakfast for PAWrents — coffee, tea, “woofles” or omelets, muffins, & fruit cups. Pups are welcome at breakfast too, with a refreshing morning fix of H2O!
