This is for all the bands that have ever been interviewed, played, promoted and supported over the past 16 years on UMR.

UMR has put it's heart and soul into Utah's local music scene to build and support our incredible music right here from Utah.

This is for all the new bands that have formed and want a place for their music to be heard. The dedication to building on our ever evolving sound, our ever evolving culture and to all the new kids who just want to rock the world with their sound! WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!

UMR has been the heartbeat of the Utah music scene for almost 2 decades. We will continue to build our ever changing scene.

Reality check and some history.

For over two decades, I cared for my dad for 27 years of my life (Since my 20’s). The final 5 years were the hardest as his health started going downhill.

Thanks to my Mom and Dad they would shape who I am and taught me the meaning of service, perseverance, and community.
The money I made from the V.A. taking care of my dad paid for UMR and the overhead costs. I would pour every dime and ounce of myself into Utah Music Radio when I wasn't caring for my him.

For 16 years, UMR has been the home for our musicians, a place where artists can be heard, celebrated, and supported. Every song we play represents the heartbeat of our state, from garage bands to seasoned pros, all united by a love for music and our Utah community.

The financial support I have put aside is slowly drying up for the past 10 months. So, I am coming to you, musicians, bands, family, fans, friends, local businesses, and our community at large for help.

UMR has some truly incredible people on our station John Farmer (Johnny C), Ryan Mills, John Lyman, Alicia Oberle Farmer, Chris Holifield, Daeshaun White, John Saltas, Ron Yengich, Bill Frost, Opey Tailor, Christopher Ballenger, Tony Toscano and Lianna Jean Manibog. If you’ve heard of even one of them, support their podcast on our station to keep going.

I am using everything I have to keep the station going and always looking for new solutions to bring in money to keep going.
But now, those funds are running out. Let's not turn into another local business supporting our community go under.

Help us keep going! Our station, and the dream we all built together is at risk of going silent.

So, this, something I rarely do... I'm asking for your help.
