For about a year we’ve been feeling a bit tired and burnt out after spending the last five years building - first the Farmshop and then the butcher shop as well as growing the farm and farm business too. When we started building both our kids were in elementary school and now suddenly our oldest is in high school. How did that happen?!? We’re running out of time with them! So we decided it’s time to take our dream trip of a lifetime to Alaska with our kids.

It was the most amazing trip - everything (except the sketchy flight home) worked out perfectly and we got to see all the things - eagles, whales, seals, salmon, a glacier from right on top of it, even the most AMAZING Northern Lights. It was an experience that actually made my eyes tear up a bit, being able to watch them dance and change right in front of our eyes.

Anyways, huge thank you to my parents for being farmers for a couple weeks in our place and thank you all for letting us close up shop for so long so our family could spend some time making amazing memories! Now, back to work! See you again this weekend! (Friday 2-4, Saturday 10-2, Sunday 11-2)

I live for customer feedback like this - it makes my heart so happy 💚. One reason (of many) for building our Farmshop right on our farm instead of leasing a building more towards the city is this.

We wanted your Farmshop visits to feel almost like an escape from everyday life, even if only for a few minutes. We wanted to share the experience of peacefulness and natural beauty that we are blessed to live in every single day. 🐽This Sunday, Sept 14th the Farmshop will be open 10-12 instead of regular hours.

🐽The Farmshop will be CLOSED Friday, Sept 26 - Sunday, Sept 28 AND Friday, Oct 3 - Sunday, Oct 5, so plan your restock trip accordingly!

‘ The way it oughta be...’

We are a small, family run farm that raise animals the way they oughta be. Cows are rotated onto fresh pasture daily, pigs are rotated through the woods and brushy areas encouraging the pigness of the pig. Our pasture raised poultry are moved daily following the cows helping to sanitize the pastures and fertilizing at the same time. We encourage you to come out and see that there is a better way to raise animals in a natural setting reducing stress and encouraging natural habits.
