Springfield High School families are invited to attend the College Credit Plus Information Night on Wednesday, January 21, from 6–7:30 p.m. Learn how students in grades 7–12 can earn high school and college credit at the same time, with representatives from local colleges available to answer questions.

Dorr Elementary Students Experience Live Harp Performance

Dorr Elementary students enjoyed a special musical assembly on Wednesday, December 17, featuring harpist Anna Jender, a college music performance major, who performed live in the school gym.

Students listened as Jender played a selection of Christmas music on the harp, introducing them to the instrument’s unique sound and expressive range. The assembly was held in two sessions, welcoming students from preschool through third grade. The beautiful harp concert provided a meaningful opportunity for students to experience music education beyond the classroom and connect with a professional musician in a live setting. Big thank you to Mrs. Linda Mohr and Jenna Moden for organizing this wonderful experience.

Springfield High School Annual JROTC Battalion Breakfast with Santa 💚

Twenty Holland Intermediate students kicked off the holiday season during the Holland-Springfield Friends annual Holiday Shopping Spree at Walmart on McCord Road. Each student was paired one-on-one with a Foundation or volunteer to shop for new clothing and winter outerwear.

This meaningful experience was made possible through the generosity of community donors and the dedication of Foundation volunteers, school leaders, and partners who continue to wrap our students in care and support. Special thanks to Andrea Rees and Cindy Siedler for their leadership in organizing the event, along with Springfield Township representatives, the Springfield Township Fire Department, and Kristina White for their continued support. Appreciation is also extended to Holland Intermediate School Counselor Grant Toepfer-Gaver for his work in helping coordinate students and families.
