Cooked at today and it was more than just another bbq comp.. this one was special.. this was the first one without Don . He was missed by many today and was great to get 1st place for him! Also took 4th place in the wing ancillary.

Shout out to all the bbq homies that came out and put in work in the heat today! taking 3rd place🏆 .bbq 2nd place 🏆 (tie breaker for 1st) taking the wing ancillary 1st place 🏆 taking Peoples choice!

We’re back home and unloaded after cooking Lodi Beer Fest & BBQ State Championship! This is how we did!

Chicken- 8th place 🐓
Ribs- 1st place 🍖
Pork- 10th place 🐷
Brisket- 7th place 🐂

4th place overall!

Very happy with yesterday’s results! Been struggling with consistency so it was really nice to walk away with 4 calls! Thank you Ben & for putting on such a great event! Always nice to see my bbq family out there and putting in work! Congrats to my bbq brother on RGC and on GC!

First comp of 2026 is in the books! It was a hot one in Dinuba but we had a good time in the process! Ended up only getting one call this weekend with a 7th place chicken and took 15th overall.. put on an awesome event and can’t wait to comeback next year! Now that I knocked off the rust, time to get to work and get ready for Lodi!

Finally back home from the in Las Vegas! Such an awesome event organized by and her family! Went against some of the best teams in the country and was able to get a walk with 9th place ribs! Huge congrats to on his first GC and on his RGC!

Cooked the double in Hollister this weekend and had some things go our way and some things not go our way (brisket) 😩

Started the weekend off great on Friday by receiving the 2024 CBBQA ROY trophy! 🏆

Day 1:

Chicken 🐔: 2nd
Ribs 🍖: 12th
Pork 🐷: 11th
Brisket 🐂: 29th

13th overall (31 teams)

Day 2

Chicken 🐔: 10th
Ribs 🍖: 16th
Pork 🐷: 6th
Brisket 🐂: 22nd

15th overall (27 teams)

Congrats to for RGC both days and also to my bbq brother for his day 1 GC! Congrats to for making the trip out to the west coast and getting the GC on day 2!

Awesome time at another for the !! It was great seeing all the usual folks as always and congrats to everyone that got to hear their name called! We didn’t do as good as we hoped but managed to get one call in Brisket and taking 17th out of 33 badass teams!
