Partly to mostly cloudy skies ruled our Thursday and the oven was on high once again as we topped out in the low 90s with breezy winds.

Currently in Branson, it's 80° under mostly cloudy skies with thunderstorms off to our West.

Overnight: Showers & thunderstorms likely the most of our overnight hours with lows in the mid to upper 60s. We'll continue to keep an eye on the storms that are currently off to our West and update you with any warnings that may occur. Right now, it appears these storms may move more of Branson, but we'll continue to monitor.

The in Springfield has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma until 9 PM CDT

Branson and Taney County are included in this watch.

Once cloud cover moved out and the sun shined bright, temperatures responded and we experienced a hot and muggy day across the area. At one point this afternoon, our weather station recorded a high of 93° with a feels like of 103°

Currently in Branson, it's a warm and muggy 78° for our bedtime weather.

Overnight: Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies are expected with lows in the low 70s.

Expands the watch area to include Benton, Camden, Hickory, Morgan and continues Bourbon & Crawford Counties In Kansas and Barton, Cedar, Dade, St. Clair & Vernon Counties until Jun 9, 4:00 AM CDT
