Another hot day gone by here in there Ozarks. According to our weather station, we recorded a high of 101° this afternoon. We've got one more day to go before we get a break in the hot temperatures. Rain chances for our area look to return tomorrow night. Although how much rainfall we may receive wouldn't be much, we'll take what we can get.

A "Heat Advisory" is in effect until 7PM Wednesday evening.

Overnight: Partly to mostly clear skies are expected with lows in the mid to upper 70s.

Quick Glance at Tomorrow:
We look to start the day with mostly sunny skies, but clouds will develop through the afternoon. Highs in the upper 90s to around 100°.. Rain chances will increase through our night time hours.

Heat Advisory:

Heat index values up to 105 are expected in Benton, Camden, Hickory, Miller, Morgan, Christian, Dallas, Greene, Polk, and Taney Counties from noon today to 8 PM CDT this evening.

Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Limit time outdoors and drink plenty of water & check on neighbors and the elderly.

A building upper-level ridge of high pressure will trap extreme heat across the Ozarks through last day of August and into the first week of September, bringing some of the hottest conditions of the season to southwest Missouri.

"Heat Advisory" for portions of southeast Kansas and central, east central, south central, southwest, and west central Missouri. Heat index values up to 105 are expected from noon to 8 PM CDT Monday.

An Extreme Heat Watch is also in effect from noon Tuesday afternoon through 8 PM Friday evening, with heat index values up to 110 possible. 🥵

Good morning. It's a rather pleasant start to our weekend, but temperatures build to near 100° by tomorrow and the hot temperatures look to remain through next week with little to no rain chances. I wouldn't be surprised if the issues at least a Heat Advisory.

Stay hydrated and limit outdoor activities during the high heat. Check on neighbors and the elderly.

Good morning! Here's a look at today's weather for the Branson area.

If you're hoping for rain, I wouldn't hold your breath as we look to end the month of August on a dry note!

Temperatures will begin to warm up even more through the weekend with highs on Saturday in the mid to upper 90s and in the upper 90s on Sunday. The humidity will make it feel yucky!
