I spent a couple of hours yesterday working on brush strokes to expand my collection of abstract art. This is something I have not done since the early 1990s. So I took a blank CD and started practicing single petal strokes with a variety of acrylics and piggies.
I opened a premixed container of TLP parakeet, and it was a solid, pliable mass of paint. After a bit of kneading, I created Paint-doh!

I molded a small portion and pushed it through the backside of the CD, and created a 3-dimensional cone in the center, which I embellished with TLP pumpkin spice and yellow ochre. Please let me know what you think about this.

With the help of my Elphin magic I have made 48 coasters, 2 LP clocks, and 12 fridge magnets. Santa owes me BIG TIME!

Creating Christmas 🎄 coasters on old CDs for thin 5 inch coasters perfect for all types of beverages. Colors include Crimson, copper metallic, TLP Gilded, TLP Boastful and Prussian Blue cell activator. You would never guess I smoked for 50+ years.

Today I spent the day with my grandson, Max, mixing paints, talking Art, and life in general. He did a ring pour over a drink bottom with combinations of pinks, blues, and a rose gold. Excellent job for a 7 year old. This will be a wedding gift. 🐷

Our gracious Lord has painted us a brush stroked sky this morning. There is nothing like color with texture.

I am totally amazed at this hand sketch drawing from my 7 year old grandson of his little French bulldog Luna. I see a very talented artist in the mix.
