What we are going to do is go way back, back in time to the early 1990s when I was learning Tole Painting. My first experience with acrylic paints. This one was finished in 2 weeks from start to finish. Still loving all processes today. My dear friend, Joyce Brill taught me and many others the art form. 35 years later, still enjoy the creativity in acrylic arts. Art does not create accidents; just happy Lil mistakes.

Today i was blessed with a special guest in my studio to do some Ballon dips on CDs. All were made with a titanium white base followed with TLP Comet, Gilded, Decoart ocean green, brilliant violet, light Teal, Dark Teal and TLP Ballet Slipper. She made 12 of them. My wonderful Wife has caught the bug!

1/2 " Birch plywood round 18" with red/black swipe swirl charcuterie board with a Georgia Bulldogs emblem in the center. 2 coats of epoxy resin for ultra durability.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday working on brush strokes to expand my collection of abstract art. This is something I have not done since the early 1990s. So I took a blank CD and started practicing single petal strokes with a variety of acrylics and piggies.
I opened a premixed container of TLP parakeet, and it was a solid, pliable mass of paint. After a bit of kneading, I created Paint-doh!

I molded a small portion and pushed it through the backside of the CD, and created a 3-dimensional cone in the center, which I embellished with TLP pumpkin spice and yellow ochre. Please let me know what you think about this.
