Can’t wait until the Haunted Holly Springs Ghost Walking tours this October? Neither can we! Kudzu Paranormal, in a collaboration with Haunted Holly Springs and the Marshall County Historical Museum have decided to wake up the ghosts and ghouls of Holly Springs a little early for a one day event called “Ghosts at the Museum", on Saturday, July 29th from 10 AM until 5 PM!
Our headquarters will be the Marshall County Historical Museum, one of the great treasures of Holly Springs and Marshall County. Come explore one of the quirkiest and most interesting Museums in the country, with artifacts from our town’s antebellum, Victorian and later periods. Throughout the day, members of the Museum will be giving guided tours of Museum, with a particular focus on the creepier and stranger artifacts the Museum carries. Creepy mannequins? A room dedicated to the dreaded Yellow Fever? The Museum has it all!
Did you know the Museum was the location of a recent paranormal investigation? Members of the recently-formed Kudzu Paranormal Investigation team will be on hand throughout the day with audio and visual guides to showcase their findings during the paranormal investigation, and with hands-on exhibits of their ghost-finding equipment!
Last, but certainly not least, will be our famous Haunted Ghost Walking Tours, this time focused on the ghosts and ghouls of College Avenue! Come walk one of the town’s creepiest streets and hear the following tales:
Legends of the long-lost Synodical College, and the haunted hospital that replaced it!
The creepy (and haunted!) Victorian houses of College Avenue!
The Hanging Man of Linden Terrace!
A possessed garden gnome which refuses to leave!
What (or who) was haunting Kate Freeman Clark?
The Ghost of Grey Gables
The Scourge of the Yellow Fever
Who are the Martyrs at the Yellow Fever Church?
The Ghosts at the Museum event begins at 10 A.M. and ends at 5 P.M. at the Marshall County Historical Museum, located at the corner of College Avenue and Randolph Street, at 220 E. College Avenue, Holly Springs Mississippi 38635. For those familiar with our main Haunted Walking Tours, this event is only three blocks east of the Holly Springs Square!
As always, our Haunted ghost tours are family-friendly! Though some of the true stories can be scary, there is no blood, guts or jump scares. Come bring the children for some ghostly summer fun before school starts back up!
This all-day event is only $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for children! ALL proceeds go towards to the upkeep and maintenance of the Marshall County Historical Museum, which is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As a special treat, everyone who preorders their tickets through our website (https://squareup.com/store/haunted-holly-springs) will receive a FREE color-changing stadium cup, with our Ghosts at the Museum logo!
Who ever said Summer isn't Scary?
