Sometimes I don't want to be me. Think the way I think. Love the way I love. Desire the dreams I dream.

I wish I could be normal and just fit in like everyone else. Lord knows I've tried to fit in with them. To quiet my conscience more often. I laugh only a little to hide my gap. Wore makeup to hide who I really was. Wore somebody else's hair so much, I forgot what I actually looked like with my own hair. Pretended to have all the right answers to fit in.

Wish I valued materials more so I'd work a regular job to obtain them. Maybe I wouldn't always be broke. Maybe I should chase money and not dreams.

I've only shown the world a very watered down version of who I am. For their comfort and mine. It's less responsibility when you play dumb.

It's killing me to live like I'm always "playing house".

As much as this is about to hurt my soul, to show the world the real me, it's time. Time for me to finally see, me. I can hold back no longer. I'm coming for what's mine. Nothing will stop me. Im taking it all. Every promise delivered during sleep.

Yeah, sometimes I don't want to be me but then there's the other 90% of times when I couldn't fathom not being me!
