To be honest, I’m not even quite sure how to put this all into words. For the past 3 years, I’ve been having a major battle with myself and dance. I think any artist can relate to the inner turmoil of figuring out who and what you wanna be in your craft. Topple that with finances and everyday adulting… it’s been arduous to say the least.
When I first started dancing, I had no understanding of the industry, the culture, or how to even get into dance. Just a fiery curiosity to figure it out and grow. I used to practice choreography Constantly!!!! I was trying so desperately to get better. It’s so crazy looking at me 8 years ago vs me now. Not only seeing the growth, but understanding I’ve accomplished a lot more than I give myself credit for. Sometimes in all the chaos you gotta take a moment to remind yourself of why you started in the first place. Thank you and for this class!!!! I really needed this.
