Budget 2022-23 to be presented today

ISLAMABAD: The incumbent coalition government is all set to present the federal budget for the fiscal year 2022-23, with an estimated outlay of over Rs9 trillion, on June 10 (Friday).

The National Assembly is already in session where the budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 would be presented by Finance Minister Miftah Ismail.

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Miftah Ismail said Tuesday the price of petroleum products would increase further in the country after a massive hike of Rs60 in the last 10 days.

In his address to the one-day long pre-budget business conference, Ismail said that had the government taken decisions in line with ex-prime minister Imran Khan and former finance minister Shaukat Tarin's deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the price of petrol would have stood at Rs300 per litre.

لندن ہالی ووڈ اداکارہ امبر ہرڈ کو سعودی شخص نے شادی کی پیشکش کردی ہے۔امبر ہرڈ جوکہ ورجینیا میں ہتک عزت کا مقدمہ ہارنے کے بعد اب اپنے سابق شوہر، اداکار جانی ڈیپ کے 15 ملین ڈالر کی مقروض ہیں۔حال ہی میں ایک سعودی شخص نے اداکارہ کو ایک پیغام میں ان کے مسائل حل کرنے کی پیشکش کی ہے۔سوشل میڈیا پر ایک وائس نوٹ وائرل ہورہا ہے، اس وائس نوٹ میں ایک آدمی کو عربی میں یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا جاسکتا ہے کہ’ امبر، چونکہ تمام دروازے آپ پر بند ہو رہے ہیں، اس لیے آپ کے پاس اب میرے سوا کوئی نہیں جوکہ آپ کی دیکھ بھال کرے۔‘اس سعودی شخص نے مزید کہا کہ’میں نے دیکھا ہے کہ کچھ لوگ آپ سے نفرت کرتے ہیں اور آپ سے بدتمیزی کرتے ہیں، اس لیے میں نے آپ سے شادی کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔‘اس شخص نے اپنی بات جاری رکھتے ہوئے کہا کہ’اللّٰہ ہم دونوں کو خوش رکھے۔ تم ایک نعمت ہو لیکن لوگوں کو قدر نہیں، میں آپ کے لیے اس بوڑھے آدمی سے بہتر ہوں۔‘خیال رہے کہ اداکار جانی ڈیپ نے اپنی سابقہ اہلیہ، اداکارہ امبر ہرڈ کے خلاف واشنگٹن پوسٹ کے لیے لکھے گئے ایک آرٹیکل پر مقدمہ دائر کیا تھا، جس میں امبر ہرڈ نے جانی ڈیپ پر گھریلو زدوکوب کا الزام لگایا تھا۔ جانی ڈیپ نے امبر ہرڈ کی جانب سے لکھے گئے اس آرٹیکل کی وجہ سے کئی بڑے پراجیکٹس بشمول ’پائریٹس آف دی کیریبین‘ کو کھویا اور اُنہیں گھریلو زدوکوب کے الزامات کی وجہ سے مشہور جریدے’دی سن‘ نے ’وائف بیٹر‘ کا لقب بھی دیا۔

The US dollar appreciated by more than Rs2 in the interbank market on Monday to cross the Rs200 mark, with analysts forecasting that the rupee would continue to fall as outflows for oil payments and other imports persist while matters with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are yet to be finalised.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the greenback gained Rs2.25 by 2:15pm to reach Rs200.40 against the previous close of Rs198.15.

In the open market, the value of the dollar had risen to Rs200 at noon.

اگر عمران خان کو کچھ ہوا تو حکومت والوں پر خودکش حملہ کروں گا، پی ٹی آئی ایم این اے کی دھمکی پی ٹی آئی کے مستعفی ایم این اے عطاللہ ایڈووکیٹ نے حکومت کو دھمکی دیتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ اگر عمران خان کو کچھ ہوا تو وہ حکومت چلانے والوں پر خود کش حملہ کریں گے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق مستعفی ہونے والے پی ٹی آئی ایم این اے عطاللہ ایڈووکیٹ نے عمران خان کی متوقع گرفتاری پر بیان دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ اگر عمران خان کے ایک بال کو بھی نقصان ہوتا ہے تو یہ ملک چلانے والے سوچ لیں کہ نہ آپ رپیں گے اور نہ آپ کے بچے رہیں، سب سے پہلے میں آپ پر خود کش حملہ کروں گا، آپ کو چھوڑوں گا نہیں اور اسی طرح ہزاروں خود کش تیار ہیں۔
