Lina Naito - Chief of Robotics (Sandra Oh)

Her father is kept alive on a tubular fully contained coffin shaped life support system she designed especially for him. Whenever Lina visits her dad in the parlor of her ranch house, his breath steams up on the window like a magic 8-ball offering up his disappointed summations of his deathly painful opinions of her. His and ceaseless disapproval of all her life choices is her main motivations. Lina’s mother still walks around her house with a cane.

Forty years-old.
Before the “Year Zero” moment of the singularity, Lina was busy creating the mechanical frameworks of both the macro and nano robotics @ NectoSoft.
