It all started out as a hobby with my GoPro. Then began recording all of my adventures which led me to getting into aerial cinematography. I also produce music and provide other services such as drum, percussion, and ukulele studio recordings. After a year I was doing this for fun and noticed all the requests I would get to make videos. Thus, Winson Media was born.

It was a pleasure helping out St. Mary’s Finest for these awesome drone shots around the area. Pleasure working with St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and Phocus Video. Also, Pax River Controlling agency and FAA in getting airspace waivers. It was fun and memorable (IYKYK 😂) flying the drone around our county. Check out this awesome video!

Do you know the restricted airspace in SoMD?
With the increasing ownership with the availability of drones to consumers, make sure the drone operator you hire is licensed/FAA certified. Whether it’s for real estate, events, construction, insurance, marketing, or other industries that use a drone, it is important to hire a professional who understands the restricted airspace and able to obtain waivers from the FAA and the controlling agency. This is for your safety and to avoid fines starting at $11,000 for hiring an unlicensed pilot. To verify your drone pilot is certified you can simply ask for their certificate. Another option is to use the FAA’s airmen registry:
