“DJ Smoove (the Rough)”, also known as Scott S McCartney, is a Miami based DJ artist originally from New York City. Since concluding a successful stint in the military, DJ Smoove returns to the DJ world with newfound purpose. His strong faith in God and unique turntablism skill, makes him a crowd favorite for live-performances. His innovative mixes are popular amongst fans. His mixes average approximately 500 streams daily. Known as a gifted turntablist with the most distinctive voice, DJ Smoove continues to entertain wide audiences that range from intimate church gatherings to large scale festivals. His journalistic skills and influences from hip hop culture makes him a respected radio personality. He hosts and produces weekly radio shows on faith based terrestrial and internet radio stations.
