Spend A Day in NYC with 5 Food & Drink Spots from Morning to Late Night!👌✨

🍵Morning Stop: 787 Coffee
This Puerto Rican coffee shop has locations throughout Manhattan - I visited their financial district location in lower Manhattan.
Very high quality coffee & beautiful space inside for doing work!

🦞Lunch/Early Afternoon Stop: Cobble Fish
This locally owned business at the South Street Seaport is a great spot for lobster rolls, crab rolls, & cocktails!

🍜Late Lunch or Dinner Stop: Happy Stony Noodle
Take the subway over to Elmhurst in Queens for some delicious Taiwanese cuisine including noodle bowls & Taiwanese street food such as popcorn chicken!

🍸Happy Hour/Evening Stop: Lost in Paradise Rooftop
Find this cocktail lounge with Manhattan Skyline views in Long Island City - it’s heated & enclosed for all-weather enjoyment!
Pro Tip: Visit on Tuesday for $4 tacos of your choice!

⏰Late Night Stop: Empanada Mama
This Hell’s Kitchen staple is open 24/7 and has delicious Colombian food - it’s obviously best known for their empanadas, which are my personal favorite I’ve EVER had - anywhere!
😋My personal favorite? The Cheeseburger Empanada!

Don’t miss this hot dog stand’s hidden tiki bar next time you’re in West Hollywood!✨

📍The Lucky Tiki
Located behind the Tail O’ The Pup hot dog stand in WeHo - look for the door next to some barrels!

✅I got seated without a reservation, but I was also there at 5pm - so try to book ahead if going any later in the evening!

🍹A few drinks I recommend:
•The Ghost of Jim Morrison
•The Maverick
🔥Both come with quite the show when brought out, taste very high quality, & are STRONG!

😋There’s also food! You can either order a hot dog from downstairs or put together a Tiki plate with various options to choose from.

🥂High Steaks is a Vegas steakhouse restaurant located at the Rio Hotel & Casino - just off the Vegas Strip!

✅My favorite menu items to order:
Cocktail: Brandy Alexander
Appetizer: Maryland Crab Cakes with arugula & lemon
Entrees (non-steak): Butchers Bolognese & Steakhouse Burger with beef tallow fries
Sides: Macaroni & Cheese with broccoli, white Vermont cheddar, and the Creamed Spinach

I’m such a Trekkie & got caught up in everything..so I didn’t get as much photo/video as planned…but here’s a few highlights from the week!✨

🍸High Steaks Vegas
The steakhouse on Rio Hotel & Casino Las Vegas 50th floor with AMAZING Vegas Strip views, complimentary bread & a MUST TRY mustard butter…and plenty of exemplary dishes/cocktails!

🪩Chandelier Bar at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
I love their Espresso Martini (pricey BUT strong & flavorful)!

🌸The New The Vanderpump Hotel
Formerly The Cromwell, but so much more fun walking around the hotel with all its opulent & maximalist decor from Lisa Vanderpump!

And of course…the annual Trek Convention itself, courtesy of Creation Entertainment - where I spent most of my time this visit!

Using Only Public Transit For Getting Around DFW All Day! 🚄💨✨

✅How to get from Arlington to Downtown Dallas with no personal vehicle:

🚙Request an Arlington Via micro transit/rideshare vehicle on the Arlington Transportation app to CentrePort Station for $3 per person.

🚆Get $3 ticket for DART local and take Trinity Express Railway train east to Dallas.

🚉Get off at Victory Station and from there either take DART to your final destination or walk the Katy Trail to uptown Dallas!
