its currently 2025 time to shake the page up, im focusing on working more now with the modeling and themes shoot aspect. The photography you will find here that I provide is Highschool Senior portraits, Family portraits, Engagement and maternity portraits, holiday themed collaborations, business photography/advertisement and now after photographing for over 10 years, now adding budoir themed to th

e list with more interest in the theme. I provide professional services and always have the most fun we can while meeting your photography needs. Still around just not very active lately, been working on some stuff, probably be stepping away from more normal shoots I've done for over a decade, working more on project type shoots, getting away from the norm of weddings for sure and the senior and engagement photos,
I'll refer to them as concept shoots, as i have had a couple people approach me about some ideas, something to ignite that fire again to make photography fun again, not another job in a constant worked packed already schedule.
still hitting some car shows up this year with the sister page Heartland Honey's & Hotrods also looking new faces to work with whether their into modeling, working on a portfolio, or just want to dress up and have fun in front of the camera, add to their social media outlets, many themed shoots and collaborations we can choose from,
Studio set up is coming along, just takes time and money, but should be able to work some stuff indoors when the Kansas good ol weather goes you know where in the colder months, have an interest want to dabble in it, message me directly, Joseph Porey out of Holton Kansas.

I about had to dust off this fb page for a bit, been working more the automotive side with car show and cruise night season in full swing on the sister page Heartland Honey's & Hotrods I still haven't been out nearly as much as I would like.
But been working behind the scenes to be able to still work some photography projects in the what I call the off season when its too cold to be outside or lack of indoor locations.
Im not calling it a studio by any means but at least where I can work some interests in photography for some sports photos I've been approached about for some of the high-school athletes and other concepts people have approached me about.
Be purchasing some large backdrops to fill the frame now that I know what room I have to work with after having to switch the editing room to what was the shooting room. Its all good and be be sure to stay tuned! Hoping for more material down the road.

Dusting off the page here with an update and say I'm still here, just not as active, a lot of repositioning everything in every aspect literally.
Alot of changes going on, but not putting the camera away by any means. I'll think of it as more structuring in the direction I want to go in, without endless restrictions I've dealt with before. It's hard to move in a positive direction when held back by an anchor. Alot of feedback on shoots people wanted me to attempt but was frowned upon by ones closest voicing their opinion.
Be moving soon and see some great opportunities to have a room set up for indoor all year round photo studio for simple studio shots with simple backdrops to bo***ir shoots that I have had many requests to shoot and other more artsy themed shoots. More collaborating and using the studio lighting more actively.
I appreciate all the recommendations for senior pics, family pics, weddings etc, only be doing them for close friends anymore, the fun has just run out of doing them for the time involved. Anyone and everyone basically takes them for next to nothing pricewise and has become a job more then anything. Time to make this fun again. Like a lot of things lately that have been lacking. Stay tuned and see what shows up on here next.

Its been a minute, still busy behind the scenes despite the 56th day straight work streak going on with the fulltime gig, but still squeezing in senior portrait shoots, and trying to balance everything with no extra time to spare, is what it is, good thing I enjoy being busy, working with some awesome seniors this year with their own flare! enjoyed working with them so far this year, and such a wide variety of personalities! just a couple examples from the last two senior shoots!

Another month and we're halfway through the year already! Been doing things behind the scenes with other page Heartland Honey's & Hotrods and prepping for glory days car show here in holton May 25th, the event keeps getting bigger and bigger.
Working an engagement shoot this afternoon, got a wedding coming up in June, senior portrait shoot frenzy will start before we known it.

Hey peeps I'm still kickin, been working more of the hotrod pinup scene this year, and wedding season is kicking off as well as senior portraits, family portraits etc, fall is like tax season for photographers before the extreme cold sets up and the cameras go into hiding for awhile, here is just a few of my favorite shots from yesterdays event, couple requested not to share all of the photos, but I could do a handful.
Groom seeked me out, since he loves my car shots, and if a groom is excited for pictures, ya gotta oblidge! great fun couple and family to work with, never a dull moment, just the way I like to work these events!
Enjoy! another wedding at the end of the month on a larger scale, Halloween shoot October 22 on F road west of Holton Kansas, 1pm till we run out of daylight for a halloween costume themed photos, no sitting fee, just having some fun with an upcoming holiday, no restrictions, let your crazy out for a fun afternoon, interested in participation contact me, for more details, all edits will be available by simple downloading from the posts here. I've been combining my automotive connections with my photography between owners and buyers, from everything from farm trucks to sports cars, classics to new, help sell four vehicles from working the photos, to buyer showing up to purchase, 4 out of five SOLD under three weeks, this beauty of a vette sold in under two days out of state! Kinda like a zz top song, I'm nationwide.
Need help selling a vehicle on market place, I shoot the shots, very minimal editing, I post to market place, screen the tire kickers and pass the info of serious buyers on to the selling owner, saves a lot of headache to sellers!
