🌟 University Products is proud to support the Costume Society of America’s 2025 Angels Project at the Flight Path Museum and Learning Center in Los Angeles!

This year’s Angels Project was a tremendous success, with volunteers processing 300 historic objects—vacuuming, photographing, documenting, labeling, and safely storing each one for future preservation. We’re honored to contribute archival materials that help protect these important cultural treasures.

Thank you to the dedicated team of conservators, curators, and volunteers who make this important work possible!

We had a fantastic time at the AIC Annual Meeting in Minneapolis this past week! It was a pleasure connecting with so many conservators, preservation professionals, and fellow exhibitors. It was great to have our partners Editorial Marco Polo, Conservación, Restauración y Encuadernación México exhibit their amazing new EX-LIBRIS® Adjustable Textile Conservation Workstation. Paper can be quite delicate, but with the right care, it can last for generations. At ICA, our paper conservator Kate Passannante works on everything from historical documents to fine art prints, making sure they stay protected and intact.

If you have paper-based treasures of your own, here are a few simple ways to keep them safe:

✨ If you must handle, make sure you have clean hands and avoid food or drinks nearby
✨ Store in a cool, dry place (no basements or attics!)
✨ Keep away from direct light to prevent fading
✨ Store flat and use acid-free folders or boxes for long-term storage

Taking small steps like these can make a big difference in preserving history.
