🐴🌿 Trail Adventure!

Our newest member of the herd, Kip, AKA Han Solo, had his first end-of-summer outing on the trails, and he did fantastic!

For his first adventure out in the great outdoors, Kip was calm, curious, and comfortable enough to even take the lead. 🤎 It was such a great experience getting our feet wet and seeing his confidence grow along the way.

A big thank you to Kenzi and Dezi for trailing along with us and making Kip’s first trip such a positive one.

First trail ride officially in the books. I have a feeling there are many more adventures ahead for Han Solo. 🐴🍂🌲

Take the time to step outside, breathe deeply, slow down, and enjoy what’s around you. Sometimes the best reset doesn’t require a schedule, a screen, or a destination. Just fresh air, open space, and a little time to simply be.

Living with horses is a dream I only imagined as a little girl. 🐴❤️

I worked tirelessly throughout my life to get to this point, and now I realize my “herd” is so much more than horses. It’s family, friends, early mornings, barn days, farm life, laughter, hard work, and a community of people who have become part of this dream.

There is something incredibly special about finally living the life your younger self once only imagined.

I am especially thankful for my husband, who has encouraged me to keep dreaming and has supported me in fulfilling the wishes of that horse-loving little girl, even as a full-grown adult.

Some dreams don’t have an expiration date. Sometimes they simply wait for us to grow into them. ❤️🐴🌾

🇨🇦 Standing With Canada 🇨🇦

As both an American and a Canadian citizen, I refuse to treat the growing hostility toward Canada as normal political theater.

Canada is not America’s enemy, subordinate or “51st state.” It is a sovereign nation and one of our closest allies, trading partners and neighbors. Our histories are complicated, but our people have defended one another, built businesses together, shared resources and stood side by side through wars, disasters and generations of friendship.

Threatening crushing tariffs, belittling Canadian sovereignty and joking about taking Canadian territory is not strong leadership—it is bullying. These tariffs will not only hurt Canadian workers. They will disrupt deeply connected supply chains, raise costs for American families and damage a relationship that took centuries to build.

Supporting America does not require cheering while our president intimidates our friends. Real patriotism includes having the courage to say when our government is wrong.

Canada deserves respect. Canadians deserve the right to protect their economy, culture, French language and national identity without being threatened or mocked by the United States.

I love both countries, which is precisely why I will speak up: America is strongest when it treats its allies as partners—not targets.

Stand strong, Canada. You are not for sale. 🇨🇦🇺🇸
