Our Story

Radioplasma is a community, independent media outlet, integrating a radio station platform, a podcast, visual, and multimedia repository for oral stories, music, performances, randomness, news, info, conversations, talks and opinions, generated by a diverse and multicultural community based in Holyoke, Massachusetts. We engage with all forms of expression, and we cover all sort of topics, promoting a peace culture through conversation. We outreach to the Pioneer Valley, Western Mass, and New England.

Created in 2016 by Iohann Rashi Vega as a media literacy workshop for the youth in Holyoke, this concept established itself also as a community service for information and a broaden approach to local affairs, not always covered by the mainstream media.

Esta es una plataforma mediática independiente que integra formatos de estación comunitaria de radio, podcast, y contenido visual, creando un repositorio de historias orales, música, representaciones, cosas al azar, noticias, información, conversaciones y el intercambio de ideas y opiniones, generadas por una comunidad diversa y multicultural, ubicada en Holyoke, Massachusetts. Nos empeñamos en incluir todo tipo de formas de expresión, abordando todo tipo de temas y promoviendo una cultura de paz a través de la conversación. Nos acercamos al área del Valle Pionero, el Oeste de Massachusetts y Nueva Inglaterra.

Creado en 2016 por Iohann Rashi Vega como un taller de educación mediática para jóvenes en Holyoke, este concepto se estableció también como un servicio informativo comunitario, ofreciendo un enfoque más amplio de los asuntos locales, no siempre cubiertos por los principales medios de comunicación.
