It’s time to celebrate excellence in our community for 2025!
We invite you to submit your Community Excellence Award Nominations by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

Please note: this form accepts one nomination per submission. After submitting, simply return to the form to enter additional nominations.
Award Categories

Individuals and businesses may be nominated for the HCOC Community Excellence Awards in the following categories:

New Business of the Year – Recognizing standout businesses launched in the Holyoke area within the past five years that made a remarkable impact in 2025.

Business of the Year – Honoring a business that truly rose above the rest in 2025.

Employee of the Year – For an employee in Holyoke who demonstrated exceptional dedication, outstanding service, and exemplary contributions.

Youth of the Year – Celebrating an individual age 18 or under who excelled in academics, community service, athletics, or overall commitment to the community in 2025.

Outstanding Citizen of the Year – For someone who made a meaningful and impactful contribution to the community during 2025.

Outstanding Citizen of the Years – Recognizing someone whose long-term dedication has significantly benefited our community over many years.

The Holyoke Enterprise will be at the Phillips County Museum taking pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 3:00–5:00 p.m. during Country Christmas!

Bring the kids, share those Christmas wishes, and stop by for a festive photo to kick off the holiday season. ❤️🎅🤶

Join us Monday, Dec. 1 in Downtown Holyoke as we celebrate this year’s festive theme: “Lights, Camera, Christmas — Celebrating Christmas Movies!”

🛍 3–8 p.m.
Shop local businesses downtown + browse vendors at the Peerless Theater gym.

🎅 3–5 p.m.
Photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Phillips County Museum (freewill donation • digital photos).

🎬 4 p.m.
Free movie “The Christmas Chronicles” at The Peerless Theater.

🐴 4–8 p.m.
Complimentary hayrides downtown.

🍲 4–7 p.m.
Soup supper at The Holyoke Vets Club, served by the Holyoke Volunteer Fire Department (freewill donations).

🎄 6 p.m.
“Lighting the City” ceremony + Business Window Decorating Contest awards at the Phillips County Courthouse with Santa & Mrs. Claus.

🚜 6:15 p.m.
Parade of Lights down Interocean Ave. — sponsored and organized by Highline Electric Association & CHS High Plains.
