Time to think about filling the freezer!
Our 2026 customer list still has availability, so let us know if you would like a order form. :)

Our herd consists primarily of Black/Red Angus, and Hereford Angus cross.
All cattle are grass/pasture raised and finished with Delta Barley.
All cattle are hormone free.
Butcher animals are vaccine free.
No antibiotic based feed, antibiotics are only used in the case of illness or injury.

$9pr lb by the hanging wt.
Sold half or whole.

Butchering mid November.

Doing a cow check, something that is simple but really hard to find time to do this time of the year with all the other work that is piling up.

The last few days of nice warm sunny weather have definitely made the grass grow, so today we worked the rest of the cows had a good crew. All went very well and hauled two groups out to pasture and drove one group to another field so no more feeding hay for the season!

Had a little cattle drive the other day moved all of the mothers and babies to a new piece of ground that’s clean and out of the mud still pretty wet kicked up a little flock of ducks on the way in, but everybody’s happy now.

Mothers and babies are enjoying the new pasture. As the cows calve I move them to a different field that’s clean. This one has a lot of trees in it which the calves like.

No April fooling for these ladies. 😁 Two more babies on the ground this morning. This makes our fourth set of two in one day.
Thankfully these calves are vigorous and up and nursing on their own.
No intervention necessary. That's the way we like it!
Sure thankful for these warmer days 🌞
