Amazing news for Alaska's veterans!A $16.7 million federal grant has been awarded to build the Interior Alaska Veterans Cemetery, the state's very first state-owned and operated veterans cemetery! Located in Salcha, south of Fairbanks, it will provide a final resting place for over 15,000 veterans and their eligible families across a wide swath of Alaska.
