Why should you listen to me?
Everything I talk about I’ve been through. From a 486 credit score, to a bankruptcy, to unexpected divorce which sent me into an emotional and financial downward spiral that ended in me having to go back to being and employee for 7 months after being a successful entrepreneur for several years..
My personal experiences and bad choices with money were a reflection of my emotional past. I had unresolved abandonment issues due to being adopted. As a result I made poor choices with men, alcohol and money. At my bottom, I made a conscious decision to LIVE and not DIE and to take control of what I could which was how I would show up in my future.
I now walk in my purpose with my head high and I use my experiences as my fuel. I can relate to making financial decisions based on emotions, not having been taught the simple rules of generating wealth, and the feeling of just needing a second chance.
This is how with conviction I can say no matter your age or what you have been through financial freedom and a peace of mind is possible. Today, I comfortably use the situations which used to bring me shame as tools for empowerment and inspiration.
