Serving on the Watkins Community Center Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the Arts Center Committee has been one of the most meaningful opportunities I’ve had this year.

When the Arts Center returned to Watkins, it felt like a homecoming that was long overdue. I never expected to step into this position, but I quickly realized it was the right place and the right time to help guide this new chapter.

Working alongside Amy and our committee has been a true blessing. The excitement surrounding the reopening of the Arts Center shows just how much this means to the Town of Honea Path and to Watkins. Together, we’re laying the foundation for an arts program that will serve our community for generations to come.

The Arts Center is back under the Watkins Community Center, and we’re excited to celebrate this new chapter for our community. 🏛️💚 Explore the space, meet instructors and committee members, and learn about upcoming workshops, pottery nights, painting classes, seasonal crafts, and art exhibits.
