Before and after - Edro III
The Edro III is a cargo ship that ran aground near the Sea Caves in Peyia, Cyprus, on December 8, 2011, during a voyage from Limassol to Rhodes.

Built in 1966 and flying the Sierra Leone flag, the ship encountered engine failure amid rough weather, causing strong winds to push it onto the rocky coastline. Fortunately, all nine crew members, including the captain, were safely rescued by the Cyprus Coast Guard.

Although efforts to salvage the ship were deemed impractical due to high costs and environmental concerns, authorities ensured that all fuel and hazardous materials were removed to prevent ecological damage. Today, the rusting vessel remains stranded on the rocks, becoming a popular tourist attraction and photography spot, particularly at sunrise and sunset, blending maritime history with the natural beauty of the Mediterranean coast.

✨ Before and After — Titanic’s First-Class Reception Room
The elegant column shown in the 1912 photo once stood proudly near the Grand Staircase, decorated in Louis XVI style.

Over a century later, the same structure still stands on the ocean floor — battered, corroded, but unmistakably recognizable.
Even in ruin, Titanic’s craftsmanship endures.

✨ Titanic’s First-Class Lounge window — then and now.

The top photo shows the ornate stained-glass window as it appeared in 1912, one of the ship’s most elegant features.
The lower image shows the same window today, still recognizable more than 110 years later, resting deep on the ocean floor.

📸 The first image of the Titanic wreck – September 1, 1985.
Captured 12,500 feet below the surface by Dr. Robert Ballard’s team, this grainy black-and-white photo marked the end of a 73-year mystery.

What you see here is the Titanic’s bow rail — the first glimpse humanity had of the lost ship since 1912.

REAL GHOST SHIP - Sailing alone without crew in the middle of the ocean 😨😨😨
The MV Alta was a 77-meter (252-foot) cargo ship built in 1976. In October 2018, the vessel experienced engine failure off the coast of the United States, leading to the rescue of its 10 crew members by the U.S. Coast Guard. After the crew's evacuation, the ship was left adrift. Over the next 17 months, the MV Alta drifted across the Atlantic Ocean, with its whereabouts largely unknown.

In September 2019, the Royal Navy spotted the drifting vessel in the mid-Atlantic. Despite efforts to locate and secure the ship, it continued its journey. In February 2020, during Storm Dennis, the MV Alta washed ashore near Ballycotton, County Cork, Ireland. The ship was grounded on rocks, and authorities began assessing the situation.

The MV Alta's journey from the African coast to Ireland without a crew or apparent navigation was unprecedented. The ship's erratic movements and the mystery surrounding its voyage have been subjects of public interest and media coverage.

As of late 2023, the MV Alta remains grounded off the coast of County Cork. The Irish authorities are responsible for the vessel, but its ownership remains unidentified. The ship has become a notable example of a "ghost ship," a vessel that drifts without a crew.
